Itunes Error 4013
to my problem by doing one simple thing to my apple TV with the power cable. The reason you there was a problem downloading the software for the iphone an unknown error occurred (-39) got this itune error is because your apple TV is stuck in the DFU mode and your Itunes can not recognize your apple TV. Follow my easy step by step instruction below hopefully https://discussions.apple.com/thread/1838404?start=0 it will fix your itune error. "This fix is only for Apple TV 2nd generation using Seas0npass" Step OneI'm assuming at this point you already performed your custom firmware, you downloaded and created your IPSW file. After you created your IPSW file firmware your seasonpass will ask you to perform restoration using Itune, you want to let Itune perform restoration automatically. See below Image! Step TwoTo make http://hubpages.com/entertainment/How-To-Fix-Apple-TV-Itune-Error-1600-1601-1602-1603-1604-for-Seasonpass this fix work you need to use both micro USB and the power cable plugged in together. I would suggest plug both cables from the beginning of your jailbreak before you even start creating the IPSW file, make sure you use both wires when you performing this jailbreak. See image below! Step ThreeAfter you finished creating IPSW file Seasonpass will idle on "waiting on DFU mode" see image on the right .Follow Seasonpass instruction and perform DFU mode by holding the menu button and the play button for 7 seconds, it doesn't have to be exact at 7 seconds I counted way pass 7 seconds in the pass and it's still work. As soon as you let go the buttons Seasonpass will let you know if the DFU mode work. You'll see the same DFU mode message as you see on the image below. Step FourThis is the most important step ! you want to do this correctly ...Once your Apple TV is found in DFU mode, pay attention to the upload green bar on seasonpass , halfway through upload process you want to " UNPLUG THE POWER CABLE " abruptly . Somehow by unplugging
Using iREB Posted by iPhoneHacks on Feb 22, 2011 | Comments (42) If you hit a 1604, 1603, 1602, 1601, 1600 error while trying to restore http://www.iphonehacks.com/2011/02/how-to-fix-1604-1603-1602-1601-1600-error-while-restoring-custom-ios-4-2-1-ipsw-firmware-file-using-ireb.html your iPhone with a custom iOS 4.2.1 firmware file created using Sn0wbreeze 2.2 https://www.igeeksblog.com/how-to-fix-itunes-errors-16xx/ for Windows or PwnageTool 4.2 for Mac then there is a way to bypass the error. iH8sn0w, developer of Sn0wbreeze has released a new version of iREB tool, which is compatible with iOS 4.2.1. iREB is a tool that will put your device into a pwned state so that you can upload custom firmware itunes error to it. iREB RC3 supports the following iOS devices: iPhone 2G, iPhone 3G, iPhone 3G[S] (old & new bootrom), iPhone 4 iPod Touch 2G (MB & MC), iPod Touch 3G, iPod Touch 4G iPad Apple TV 2 iREB is currently available only for Windows users. Before we start please note that that jailbreaking your iOS device may void its warranty and hence proceed with caution and at your unknown error occurred own risk. You can follow these simple step-by-step guide to bypass the 1604, 1603, 1602, 1601, 1600 errors: Download the latest version of iREB from iH8sn0w Start iTunes (iREB needs iTunes 10 or above, it’s a good idea to use the latest version of iTunes – iTunes 10.1.2 as of now) Put your iOS device in DFU mode by following these steps: iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch Connect your iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch to your computer Turn it off Hold power and home together for 10 seconds (exactly). Release power but keep holding home until the computers beeps as a USB device is recognized A few seconds later iTunes should detect your iOS device Apple TV 2 Connect your Apple TV 2 with your Computer via microUSB Now reboot your Apple TV by holding down Menu + Down buttons together for around 6 seconds After reboot, immediately hold Menu + Play until you see the message in iTunes saying that Apple TV in recovery mode is detected Now close iTunes and launch the iREB tool that you had downloaded earlier Click on the relevant device from the iREB screen and wait for few seconds until you get a white or red screen on your iOS device
3194 but that's just top of the iceberg. Of the errors we occasionally face when trying to play around with our iPhones, the iTunes Error 16xx series is all too frequent. A few 11xx errors are also associated with the same process of fixing these errors. Before we begin let's first understand why the error crops up in the first place. When you try to restore, update or downgrade your iPhone's iOS, you might face any of the following iTunes Errors: 1600 1601 1602 1603 1604 According to Apple, all those 16xx errors listed above except 1604 are associated with firewalls and/or security software installed on your Mac/PC. The 1604 is recorded as a USB timing error where it mostly gets sorted when you change ports or use a different computer to restore/update. Here are the things you should try to fix these iTunes errors 16xx (1600,1601,1602,1603,1604): Step 1: Make sure you've got the latest iTunes software Step 2: Check to see if your USB ports are good. Don't use hubs to connect the iPhone to the computer. Change the port if you're getting a 1604 error. Step 3: If the error still shows up, try the following: If you're trying to update, backup all data and then enter your iDevice in DFU mode. iTunes will recognize a device in DFU mode and prompt you to restore it. Now try restoring your iPhone. Hopefully, this should set it right. Step 4: If that didn't work, you should try: Download and run TinyUmbrella In TinyUmbrella, click Start TSS Server Now try restoring your iPhone to stock firmware. Step 5: Try iReb Download the IPSW firmware file for the iOS you want to update to. Open iTunes, put your iPhone in DFU mode Close iTunes (after DFU) and then start iReb. Within iReb, select your device Now, after a while, you'll get a white/red screen displayed on your iPhone. Don't panic. After this, open iTunes. Choose "Shift+Restore" (Windows) or "Option+Restore" (Mac) and select the IPSW file you downloaded in step 1 Finish restoration. Hopefully, the errors shouldn't occur. Let us know if you've got other work arounds to fix the 16xx errors in iTunes.
