new and updates) and even installing apps from different sources…no luck, still got the error. That is when, in frustration, I handed my iPhone to Doug and being as brilliant as he is…he fixed it! All I needed to do was https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201210 clear my queue! I had tried to install weTool-US…which got almost through the install process and gave me the "main script execution failed!" error (which I still get when I try to install this app). Well, from there, I tried to install other apps not realizing that weTool-US was still in my queue. So, moral of the story, try clearing your queue (or hand your iPhone to someone brilliant)! When I put it back to 0755, nothing changed. Weird. I had to restore and use ZiPhone all over again. Reply Fred says: February 24, 2008 at 4:09 am Totally unrelated, but does anyone know of a program like total commander thats compatible with 1.1.3 and does not need wifi. Iphonebrowser does not work on 1.1.3 nor does total commander. I have winscp but it needs wifi….any suggestions would be greatly appreciated =) Reply ducga says: February 24, 2008 at 6:36 am i h
you can fix it by temporarily blocking Apple's firmware signing services. Error 3194 seems to usually be triggered when unsigned or expired firmware is used, often during an iOS http://osxdaily.com/2010/12/06/error-3194-fix-for-itunes/ downgrade or upgrade, or even during some restores. If you experience the error on your iOS device, here's how you can quickly resolve it so that iTunes will function with the restore or iOS update as intended. http://stackoverflow.com/questions/9987192/xcode-will-run-app-on-simulator-but-not-on-device This applies to all versions of iTunes on both Mac and Windows PC, here's how to resole the error. Fix Error 3194 The fix is the same regardless of what operating system you are using: Quit iTunes itunes error Locate your hosts file, in Mac OS X this is /etc/hosts and in Windows this is c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts Open the hosts file with Administrator privileges Add the following lines to the very bottom of the hosts file and save the change: 74.208.105.171 gs.apple.com Connect your iPhone to the computer Launch iTunes Put the iPhone/iPad/iPod into DFU mode by turning the phone off and then holding down the sleep and power button for 10 seconds, then release itunes error code the power button but hold onto the home button until iTunes tells you that the device is now in recover mode Use the iTunes Restore feature as usual with the iOS device You may need to flush your DNS cache for the change to take effect, though usually just quitting and relaunching iTunes is sufficient to get the app to recognize the change. Once your iOS update is finished, go back to the hosts file and remove the "74.208.105.171 gs.apple.com" line again so that iTunes can properly update as usual. This is an essential step otherwise you may encounter future errors when trying to update or install iOS versions. Note that iTunes Error 3194 can also happen sometimes if the wrong firmware version is used, and you will see an error message like "This device isn't eligible for the requested build", which is why it's necessary to always use the appropriate firmware files for your device if you are performing manual updates. Or better yet, just let iTunes or iOS update itself without trying to use the firmware files manually. If you need them, you can get the latest versions of iPhone firmware, iPad firmware, and iPod touch firmware directly from Apple. Keep in mind that the signing window for downgrading iOS versions has shrank dramatically, and without a history

When I try to debug on the device, it appears to copy the app (I can see the icon), but then stalls with the above message. Xcode says it is running the app on my iPod, but nothing is happening on my iPod. When I click on the app, the app appears to launch, but seems to be missing resources. Other projects of mine work properly. What setting do I need to change to make this work properly.? Looking at the error message, it seems to be looking in my mac for the app. But this doesn't make sense since I am trying to run it on my 4th gen iPod touch.
