It should automatically prompt you to create a "Backup". Press okay! 3. Then click on "Restore" under your iPhone tab. 4. It should also ask you if you want to back up your phone after the "Restore" make sure to click on the "Ok" button. 5. Let the Restore run until complete 6. After it is complete it will have the option to restore to your "Backup". 7. Once this is complete go to your "Music Tab" located at the top of iTunes not in the side panel. Then I checked "Sync Music" and then selected "Select Playlists, artists and genres". Then I selected all my playlists since that's all my music! After that I hit "Sync". 8. And success! All my contacts, calendar reminders, call logs, text messages, etc. was restored during the backup.
