I’m getting an error 4251 when burning CDs!? I’m having this major problem with burning CDs with iTunes. I keep getting an error 4251. I don’t know what this is, and the description isn’t really telling me anything. It seems to only be a problem with my iTunes and not my other software. Can anyone help me? However all my burns have failed and I get this message. UNKNOWN ERROR (4251) Does anyone know what it means and if it can be corrected? I tried sorting by file type and reducing the burn speed, but that didn't work either. Just for some background, I'm using iTunes 4.5 for Windows. I have a CD-RW drive and I was using a CD-R disc. I searched the forum for this error message and couldn't find an answer for my question. 05-14-2004, 01:29 PM #2 honeybee1236 Join Date: Mar 2004 Location: New York Posts: 17,750 permalink Try Edit>Preferences>Burning and clicking on mp3 cd instead of Data cd and see if this works.
