Should not be so different than Windows 8.1. If you are a video editor and need to install QuickTime for plugins or programs to work, use Apple Software Update (got it after installing iTunes). Apple might have did it on purpose so we do not upgrade to Windows 10 so fast and consider a Mac. Error 2229 means the wifi network is dropping packets. If you're using the update inside iTunes, download it from here. I cannot be held responsible for the things that come out of my mouth. I don't use wifi, but a hard wired connection. But still got the error 2229 message again, when I tried to install it. Can I try something else? Any advise?
