It can't go for more than 1 day without appearing again. It is seriously giving me the shi*s because Apple has not said a word about it anywhere and so many people are having the problem for so many different reasons. I am about ready to request a refund on 2 iPods as they are virtually unuseable as well as an album and single downloaded off Music Store. The support hours are completely inconvenient as I can't access this computer during those hours to go through any problems. I have gone through about 6 different fixes on these boards which while appreciated have clearly not worked. 1 of them forced me to reinstall Windows.I've had it with Apple. Advertisement Metal4Life an unknown error occurred (8364) Thread Starter Joined: Oct 22, 2007 Messages: 7 I've had itunes for several years now, but just recently i've experienced a major problem. About 3 weeks ago, it all began. At https://discussions.apple.com/thread/445021?start=0&tstart=0 random points in the day when I'm just doing my regular computer business and listening to some songs in itunes, a message pops up in itunes stating "The itunes Library file cannot be saved. An unknown error occured (-1450)". This error causes you to lose a random number of songs from you library, but thankfully they remain on the hardrive. After https://forums.techguy.org/threads/itunes-library-file-unknown-error-1450-possible-malware-or-other-virus.650775/ the message appears, i have no choice really but to close itunes because after I click ok to the unknown error message, it just keeps staying basically, so I have to exit. I click to open itunes again and a box appears stating something along the lines of "importing itunes library .xml" with a green loading bar at the bottom of the message. After it's done it states the following "The file itunes Library does not appear to be a valid itunes library file. Itunes has attempted to recover you itunes library and renamed this file to "itunes Library (Damaged).itl." After I click itunes a second time, the actual program opens and usually more than 1/2 or 3/4 of my library is gone. Just randomly picked songs remain and I have 1500+ songs as a whole. This message appears at random points in the day has popped up about 7 times over the course of 3 weeks. I've tried a couple suggestions from someone on the itunes discussion forums and actual itunes phone support. Phone support told me just to uninstall itunes a
