Posted by: Mac-A-Matic Date: December 14, 2011 12:09PM Working on getting my mom's new computer setup and have run into this glitch while trying to sync her iPhone4s to the iMac: There was an error storing your authorization information on this computer. The required file was not found or has a permissions error. Correct this permissions problem and try again, or deauthorize this computer if the permissions cannot be changed. In setting up the computer (which was a clone from her old MacMini), I am one of the Admins and I also have a separate iTunes account running. Does this cause some sort of interference? I thought that you could have multiple users with multiple AppleID accounts? I'm not even sure what this error message means or how to correct it! I have signed her into iTunes with her own account but the system does not want to since the apps that were placed on the iPhone. I should note that my parents were visiting my brother and he placed these apps on her iPhone. I do not know at this point if he might have connected our mom's iPhone to his computer to add these apps and if that is making an impact here. The two apps in question are Skype and a mobile banking app. Thanks! Options: Reply• Quote Re: iTunes Authorization Error???
