I think the only thing I have installed recently is DVD XCopy. But the problem did not occur soon after the installation. It was a good 2-3 weeks after that the problem emerged. I can't seem to find anyone on the WWW who has experienced similar problems.Any thoughts? 2015 Messages: 33 Likes Received: 16 Well hello AUDIO-zens.... So to start with.... i am using a DELL STUDIO 1537 (yeah i knw that's WAY OUTDATED..!!) and when i got it, it was running Windows 8 (64-bit) at that time... so i installed CUBASE 5 on it and it was running fine without any errors.... but after running it for around 2 years, i recently updated to Windows 10 Pro when Microsoft was giving away free upgrades.... so just recently before starting a new project i decided to clean up my whole system as itunes & other were clogging my CPU and uninstalling would still have left bits-n-pieces here and there..... so i FORMATTED MY WHOLE SYSTEM (not just C:/) and now i installed Cubase 5 on it and now when i start it, it shows an error box "Cubase5.exe - No Disk: There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive G:" and below it CANCEL, TRY AGAIN and CONTINUE.... though clicking on CONTINUE opens CUBASE 5.... why is it showing this pop-up.?? and also the HalionOne by AiR is not installed. when i select it from Instruments drop-down list it shows error about syncacc.dll not having an expected interface....!!! and recently i started i downloaded the setup for HaLion One from steinberg's site and installed it... but this time it shows the same error and then it just freezes and when i close cubase through task manager it shuts down my entire system..... Did i do something wrong.? and yes, one more problem i noticed after this FORMAT is that my WiFi adpater seems to be connecting to my Home WiFi in its own time and after some time automatically disconnects (though it shows conneected but NO INTERNET ACCESS) while my phone seems to be working fine on this same WiFi.... PLEASE HELP..... any suggestions and tips will be highly appreciated as i am in the middle of this project and it is highly frustrating to have such a bug to deal with..!!! Even cubase 8 faced in the begining big problems with win10. I don't think that air will check to solve this incompatibility issue. So why not go back to win 8.
