I have tried the back up option and everytime I do (whether I try Cds, DVDs etc) I always get the computer saying there is an error 4850. I don't understand though, because everytime it cancels burning at a different time.... so I am confused as to what the problem might be. I have also just tried burning certain playlists to data DVD/CD but it cancels and gives me the same error also... I have run out of ideas and have wasted so many cds trying to do this!! I wanted to do it through itunes, so that when I get my computer fixed (as it will need to be completely wiped), I will have all my songs named etc as I want them... Does anyone have any ideas of what I could do? Advice would be grately appreciated!!! Thanks, ~Alicia~ 01-10-200

Itunes is really http://www.justanswer.com/computer/3dh7e-itunes-attempt-burn-disc-failed-unknown-error.html bad at burning the songs.. If you fix itunes where it will work, then the computer itself wont be able to burn a lot of times.. Itunes is ultimately an apple software ( mac)lets try and use windows software to burn.. insert your disk.. Then check out this guide on windows media player, which comes included with windows 7, and which will burn a cd without issue..http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/Burn-a-CD-or-DVD-in-Windows-Media-PlayerIf you are insistent upon using itunes.. Understand it may take some time to carry out the steps to get itunes fixed to work with windows 7.. Sometimes itunes works, the very first time and you never have to do anything.. other times, it wont work, and you can spend hours or days even messing with some of the settings..I wanted to offer you another method to do the same thing first.. Let me know if this is acceptable, or if you want to try and fix itunes. Ask Your Own Computer Question Customer: replied6 years ago. i believe i will just use windows media player can i move my songs to a file to be used with windows media player Expert: Dustin replied6 years ago.
