starts to blink your hear the carousel turning but the light still blinks, if you remove the http://www.fixya.com/support/t1860561-konica_minolta_2400w_magicolor_error cartridges out the lights should lighten up but they don’t has any one ever had this problem with there printer? Help will be appreciated. Respond to this 0 hi if http://www.fixyourownprinter.com/posts/39969 you take out all the toners you will find a contact at the bottom where the chip from the cartridges touch , these three springs work loose , so you need to take the black clip out split it and solder them back on that will sort the problem out by Anonymous on Jan 22, 2008 at 10:55am Add comment Please sign in to comment Please sign in to comment Unknown Printer Buy discount ink Buy this printer © Copyright 2011-2016, FixYourOwnPrinter.com, Inc. jam, the error light continued to flash. The status window said I needed a new drum unit, even http://www.fixyourownprinter.com/posts/55569 though the 'supplies status' window said that 58\% of the capacity remained. It also said, however, that all the four toner cartridges were 100\% full, which is clearly not the case. I telephoned Konica who said that I needed to buy a new drum unit (ouch!) - but that they would give a 58\% discount in view of konica minolta the capacity remaining. I have installed this, and the problem remains - ie still a flashing error message, still 58\% capacity indicated on the drum unit window, still 100\% capacity indicated for all the other cartridges. There has been some leakage of toner from the red cartridge in particular, which is causing a bit of a mess konica minolta magicolor - but I can't get the toner system to rotate, and I can't release any of the toner units to clean them up. Any ideas? Respond to this 0 Cut your losses. Call Konica and tell them the diagnosis by their tech was wrong and you want to return the drum for full credit of what you paid. This is a low end printer a few years old with very little diagnostics ability since there is no menu or control keys. I would just scrap it a get yourself an hp 2605N when it is on sale. by dmzcompute on Apr 19, 2008 at 12:06pm Add comment Please sign in to comment Many thanks - will do!! - Anonymous 0 can u help me find a better printer than a monica minolta pleas by Anonymous on Mar 8, 2010 at 6:12am Add comment Please sign in to comment Please sign in to comment Unknown Printer Buy discount ink Buy this printer © Copyright 2011-2016, FixYourOwnPrinter.com, Inc.
