The first error message is - L-EC Uncorrectable Error. Does this mean the DVD is scratched? It plays ok on the computer and stand alone DVD player. The second problem is DVD Shrink is asking for http://forum.doom9.org/archive/index.php/t-90949.html VTS_03_9.VOB, but this file is not present on the original DVD. Tried also with "Overlapped I/O operation" disabled. Is it an encryption problem? Appreciate assistance in resolving the issues and pointing in the right direction. 1. --------------------------- DVD Decrypter --------------------------- I/O Error! I'm getting the following error, not only in decrypter but also when doing a benchmark test on Nero CD-DVD speed.E 20:13:44 Failed to read Sector 2034064 - L-EC Uncorrectable ErrorMy other Pioneer drive is on region 4, and does not produce any such errors. I usually use software to change regions, but is it easier to set the new on to 4 also?Cheers,Edit, also got AnyDVD running but have never had to disable it in the past. Cos I get L-EC error in CDSpeed when the disc is farked scratched there.True it could be a result of the disc being locked because your drive isn't set to a region yet though. Why don't you just use the Pioneer then? =S User #126259 6833 posts G-rig Whirlpool Forums Addict reference: whrl.pl/R7zOm posted 2007-Feb-26, 9:27 pm ref: whrl.pl/R7zOm posted 2007-Feb-26, 9:27 pm O.P. I cleaned the disk with some solution, and can't see any marks on it (unless its some kind of heat damage).Testing it in the Pioneer now. Guess i'm testing the LiteOn to see how it goes.
