debugger attached to Weblogic 9.2.3 on the correct port) I get the message that it cannot debug because I haven't got line numbers enabled in the settings. Except I have. I've been at this for 3 days now. This is what I've done to try and fix it: 1. Unchecked/applied then checked/applied line number compiler settings 2. Cleaned/refreshed project and recompiled/deployed everything (I'm using ant scripts to generate the ears/jars) 3. I've deleted my workspace and created a new one 4. I've deleted eclipse and installed it again 5. I've reinstalled weblogic and set everything up from scratch 6. I took a backup of a colleagues eclipse, weblogic and code folders (i.e. everything to do with the project). I'm using exactly the same configuration files for everything and we are running the same java from the jdk shipped with weblogic. In the case of (7), his works just fine, it is just mine. Can anyone please help? I found quite a large number of people with similar faul

cannot install breakpoint due to missing line number attributes maven add line number attributes How to solve Eclipse error cannot install breakpoint due to missing line number attributes unable to install breakpoint enhancerbycglib Geplaatst op 20 mei 2014 door Roxanny Haverkate Momentarily I’m working on a project in which I had some problems with the debugger. Every https://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php/t/452454/ time I tried to install a breakpoint I got the error message ‘cannot install breakpoint, due to missing line numbers’ from Eclipse.Somehow the breakpoint was installed however, so I could debug as usual but the error message kept popping up. At first I had taken a look http://www.first8.nl/blog/eclipse-cannot-install-breakpoints-due-to-missing-line-number-attributes-when-using-spring-managed-beans-that-dont-have-an-interface/ at the settings of Eclipse, the project and the JVM. All looked good.At this point it might be good to know that the project I’m working on is quite a mess (doesn’t follow conventions, tight coupling and low cohesion to give some examples). The project was already a mess when we started working on it.One of the classes is a Service with a Spring @Service annotation, but the Service didn’t have an Interface. package nl.first8.blog.example; import org.springframework.stereotype.Service; @Service("SkillService") public class TestServiceWithoutInterface { public void doSomething() { System.out.println("Hello TestServiceWithoutInterface"); } }123456789101112package nl.first8.blog.example;import org.springframework.stereotype.Service;@Service("SkillService")public class TestServiceWithoutInterface { public void doSomething() {System.out.println("Hello TestServiceWithoutInterface"); }}After a colleague told me that Spring was generating the missing interface without line numbers I’ve added an interface to the Service and that did indeed solve the problem. package nl.first8.blog.example; public interface TestService { void doSomething(); }1234567package nl.first8.blog.example;pu

When trying to debug the Java source code without the line numbers set in Eclipse-Agentry the following error shows up: Overview The source code from the SAP -Syclo product was not compiled with numbers This is to minimize size To install breakpoints, the user needs to setup the Java project as normal and do a few Eclipse configuration. Resolution Do the following: Setup the Eclipse Editor to compile with line numbers. Configure Build Path -> click Java Compiler -> Add line number attributes. Make sure that all the project libraries and build properties is fully setup before exporting application Click File -> Export Need to create and override the old source code that was use to build the project. Override the name that is used for the Agentry server (check the Agentry.ini). Enable the Line code view of Eclipse. This should resolve the problem and error. Special Note: The installer may include a com folder in the SAP Agentry server > Java directory. This com folder may contain Java source code that is a mi
