Has anyone else come across this problem and more importantly a solution please? Then did a test with the DoCmd.TransferSpreadSheet exactly as you had, and also no truncation happen. Interesting part is that when you manualy import the FieldType is Number and set as Double, which makes sense when the content is all a Number value. In your Table tblImportBuffer you set the Field Type to Text, I guess some "intelligence" of the Method TransferSpreadsheet method things that it needs to Parse into a Number Field, while it is Text. It creates an Error "Unparsable Record", as you see started from Field 220 and so on, as you can see in Table Sheet1$_ImportErrors. So the solution, as long as they all are Numeric values, set the Field Type to Number, and it will all import well with no Error/ truncation. If you don't mind we can post this in the Forum as it answers your question, so other can benefit of the solution. Hope this helps,Daniel van den Berg | Wa
