Windows Media Player Does Not Support The Codec Used To Compress The File
Thread Starter Joined: Oct 11, 2007 Messages: 183 So I'm getting the Error C00D1199 when I windows media player cannot play the file windows 10 try to do the DRM Upgrade from Microsoft.com URL: http://drmlicense.one.microsoft.com/Indivsite/en/indivit.asp?force=1 I realized the reason I can't play this file is because I don't windows media player c00d1199 fix have Audio drivers showing up in Windows Media Player, and since I cannot RnR Windows Media Player I"m in a bit of a bind. I've tried restoring system to previous date that I knew it worked on. No http://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-music/errors/error-code-c00d1199 Dice. I also tried uninstalling and disabling audio drivers then re-install. No Dice. I've attached a couple screen shots to help show whats happening. TehTech, May 13, 2008 #1 Sponsor Rollin' Rog Joined: Dec 9, 2000 Messages: 45,855 Is this problem specific to Window Media Player? And does it involve just one file type or many or just that "upgrade" link? Do your Audio Devices show installed and working properly in the Device Manager and in https://forums.techguy.org/threads/solved-getting-error-c00d1199.711907/ the Control Panel > Sound properties? If you did not do a "clean" install of the drivers you should try that. This involves checking the option to delete the driver software for the device when you remove the device from the Device Manager. Actually, in that menu you have chosen I do not see any data either -- until the "Advanced" properties are selected. Rollin' Rog, May 13, 2008 #2 TehTech Thread Starter Joined: Oct 11, 2007 Messages: 183 The "Upgrade" button runs a .wmv file that upgrades your DRM store on your computer to the most current revision so you have the ability to use copy encrypted content. (Zune) Once I click on Advanced it gives me my Windows Audio Properties (Yes audio plays on my system, i just cannot verify my audio output since it won't load into WMP's Device settings, and because of that it won't update the DRM store unless if can verify both Audio and Video out..) Hopefully that makes enough sense, drm isn't something easily explained and neither is resolving Vista WMP issues. Content providers may also install the upgrade -- I know Netflix certainly u
