1•Share• Warning every time a video is open on MPCbyMikau on Thu Aug 06, 2015 4:43 amHi.I get this error every time I open a video:"Warning creating EVR Custom render""The installed DirectX End-User Runtime http://codecs.forumotion.net/t2019-warning-every-time-a-video-is-open-on-mpc is outdated. Please download and Install the June 2010 release or newer version in order for MPC-HC to function properly.".This message is shown twice, if I click to close the window, the player crashes, I http://forums.firefall.com/community/threads/resolved-d3derr_notavailable-error.89126/ have to click on "OK" (twice) to not crash.I already updated my DirectX to the lastest version. And my graphic driver is updated as well. I already reinstalled both MPC and my graphics driver media player and I still get this warning. My system is Windows 7 x64, NVidia GeForce GTX 560 graphics card. The MPC version is Standard. Is there any way to just remove these warnings? They are really annoying.Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.MikauPosts : 2Join date : 2015-08-06 Re: Warning every time a video is open on MPCbyAdmin on Thu Aug 06, 2015 6:35 amOne solution would be to select a media player classic different video renderer in the options. But it is better to find the real cause, as other programs/games may have similar problems. It shows that error when the required DirectX files are not present on the system. Which is strange since you should have them after your DirectX update. The codec pack even puts them in the MPC-HC folder if they are missing on the system. So the DirectX update is not even needed.Check if these files exist:c:\windows\system32\D3DX9_43.dllc:\windows\system32\D3DCompiler_43.dllIf they do exist, move them elsewhere temporarily. Then re-install the codec pack. It should install those two files in the MPC-HC64 folder. If playback works now, then perhaps the files you had were damaged.AdminAdminPosts : 2904Join date : 2011-06-17 Re: Warning every time a video is open on MPCbyMikau on Thu Aug 06, 2015 7:36 amThank you very much. I had the files, but moving them and re-installing the program solved the issue.MikauPosts : 2Join date : 2015-08-06 Re: Warning every time a video is open on MPCbySponsored content Today at 11:17 pm Sponsored content Codec Guide::SupportPage 1 of 1Jump to:Select a forum||--General Discussion|--Feedback|--SupportPermissions in this forum:You cannot reply to topics in this forumHomeFree forum|Sciences and Knowledge | Support|© phpBB|Free forum support|Report an abuse|Free forum

Discussion in 'Technical Support' started by mwst, Mar 30, 2013. Thread Status: Not open for further replies. mwst #1 Hi. I'm just wondering if anyone else is encountering this same error I have. I have updated to the latest Patch update. 0.61586r2. Everything well went and I proceeded to launch the game through the launcher. However, upon loading into the game for like a split second. The game quits and a message box comes up. ============================================================= Failed to initialize D3D 9 device (D3DERR_NOTAVAILABLE). Check if DirectX installed correctly Engine failed to initialize. ============================================================= I've been playing the game before the 0.6 patch without any issue. The patching for both 0.6 and 0.61586r2 went ahead with no problems. I tried launching the game today and it's the first time I saw this error. I have since updated my graphics driver and tried to install DirectX, for which the installer returned me the message that the latest DirectX is already installed on my computer. However, the same message popped up every time I launched the client.exe. Any ideas on what else I should do or should I redownload the full installer and reinstall FF? I'm hoping that I don't have to redownload 4+ GB. Thanks ahead for any replies!
