Windows Media Player to reduce skipping from scratched CDs when you rip them. Introduction Windows Media Player has a nifty feature called Error Correction that tries to fix errors (skips) http://maximumpcguides.com/windows-vista/reduce-cd-skipping-in-windows-media-player/ when ripping CDs that skip from scratches. Turn Error Correction On Open Windows Media Player. Right-click just to the left of the Now Playing tab, then point at Tools, and then select Options. Click the Devices tab. Select the drive you use to rip your CDs with and then click Properties. Check off use error correction and then click OK. Still need help? Ask your computer media player question now.
