Unfortunately, I've encountered one persistent issue that I'm unable to solve. Specifically, a page containing a series of CascadingDropDown controls fails to receive results from the web service it's tied to, receiving a "[Method Error 403]" result. Oddly, this issue only seems to impact the out-of-state testing team members using IE6 -- IE7 seems to work fine. Are there any tucked-away settings for the controls, service or IE that may remedy this? Is it an IIS policy/rule? I'm honestly at a loss. Searching news groups and Googling turned up no noteworthy results. Generally speaking, there are two steps to be taken when it occurs: If you are uploading via FTP, your FTP client probably has some facility for setting file permissions. You want to make sure that all choices (user, group, and other) have execute permission. If your script does not have a .cgi or .pl extensions, it must be placed in the cgi-bin directory to be considered executable. If your script does not have one of these extensions, either rename it, or move it into the cgi-bin directory. As usual, if your site is mission critical, you should test the J! 3.6 and Fabrik 3.5 releases on a sandbox first (clone your site using Akeeba). You can now update to Fabrik 3.5.1. Discussion in 'Professional Support' started by shawnmcginn, Aug 21, 2015. shawnmcginn Member Level: Professional While this was working fine up until just a few days ago I've all of a sudden run into an issue where certain users (in my case, those assigned to view access level - special) can no longer populate the values in any CCD on my form. Note I have been working on the application and am sure it's something I've installed or a permission I've missed. I have been backing out updates and changes but am still at a loss. So, for example, I have a Countries databasejoin element that will trigger a State CascadingDropDown on change. SuperUsers and Registered users can still trigger the CCD when logged in but not Special users so I know it's not the configuration of the element. I tried debugging and what I did find is I'm getting some 403 auth errors on the callout from the cascadingdropdown.js: POST http:...../cpsnbtest/index.php 403 (You are not authorised to view this resource.) Note I am logged into this page (index.php) and am able to navigate and use the other fields, it's just this one field that is throwing the error. In the change method of /plugins/fabrik_element/cascadingdropdown/cascadingdropdown.js it's hitting the 'onFailure': function (xhr) { If you could assist me with this problem
