Reference or error message. The manifest file contains one or more syntax errors.(I believe this error was probably spawned from Error1.)Error3: Syntax error in manifest or policy file: "C:\Program Files\ICA Client\Microsoft VC80.MFCLOC.MANIFEST" on line 5 (I believe this error was probably spawned from Error 1 and possibly Error 2).Microsoft has a Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package (x86), which is listed as a resolution for the problem.Has anyone encountered these errors and/or used another method to resolve? Thanks! 1315-236829-1344178 Back to top Manbinder Pal Singh Citrix Employees #2 Manbinder Pal Singh 806 posts Posted 03 October 2008 - 04:24 AM HiIts not clear to me how are you using streaming. Could you give more details on what all you are doing? Also this error seems to be suggesting something not right with your client environment - may be run time is not proper or even installed. Kindly check that also.Best Wishes,Manbinder 1315-236829-1344312 Back to top Guest Members #3 Guest 1 posts Posted 09 October 2008 - 07:15 AM

DotNet 4 Error Started by Daniel Cottam , 19 August 2010 - 05:46 AM Login to Reply 5 replies to this topic Best Answer Donald Petry III , 20 August 2010 - 01:15 PM That error sounds like a Pre-launch analysis issue. Open the package, right click, Properties* and http://discussions.citrix.com/topic/272305-dotnet-4-error/ look at the *Pre-launch Analysis tab. Make sure there are no settings.Perhaps the new version of .NET Framework is conflicting with the Offline Plug-in. Can you launch a known-good streamed app on the server that has .NET 4 installed? When I run a SQL Server Reporting Services 2005 report on one of these web sites I get the following error message: Log Name: Application Source: ASP.NET 2.0.50727.0 Date: 5/14/2012 2:16:30 PM Event microsoft visual c++ ID: 1315 Task Category: Web Event Level: Information Keywords: Classic User: N/A Description: Event code: 4005 Event message: Forms authentication failed for the request. We've only using 1 web server, so I don't believe that will have any bearing upon our problem. This new web server is a Windows 2008 R2 Web Server.
