That it is not a finished release version of the program. 2. iThat it does have bugs and programming errors. 3. That you use it at your own msn messenger risk. 0 Screwy 10 Years Ago No thats not the prob, I had the same thing with 7.5 0 carminae7 10 Years Ago i have the exact same problem for about a month and a half now and it is driving me nuts! i even tried using older versions of msn messenger and those programs told me to update my msn to a newer version.... i don't have a clue why error reports keep displaying but i am msn messenger error really sick and tired of it! i even sent an email to msn messenger technical support but they never replied. Please could someone help solve this problem? 0 Screwy 10 Years Ago I found out the problem, you have some kind of virus. I rebooted because the virus got me a trojan-downloader, and crashed my computer twice. It's also stopping me from downloading Mc Afee, and Norton. 0 DMR 152 10 Years Ago Hi carminae7, welcome to DaniWeb :) If you do want to pursue the possibility of a virus infection (and I think that's wise), please do the following: Download the (free) HijackThis utility. Once downloaded, follow these instructions to install and run the program: Create a folder for HJT outside of any Temp/Temporary folders and move the HijackThis.exe file to that folder now. A folder such such as C:\HijackThis or C:\Spyware Tools\HijackThis will do. Run HijackThis, but do not have HJT fix anything yet; only have it scan your system! Once the scan is complete, the "Scan" button will turn into an option to "Save log...". Save the log in the folder you created for HijackThis; the saved file will be named "hijackthis.log". Start a new thread of your own in our Viruses, Spyware, and other Nasties forum (we do not work on virus issues in this particular forum). Open the HJT log file with Windows Notepad, and cut-n-paste the entire conten
The Symptoms You Get When you launch MSN Messenger and try to logon, you get an error message 81000314. A wild guess, there is a problem with the MSN Server, it truly is unavailable. The Cause of Code 81000314 Solutions to MSN Error Code 81000314 Screenshot of MSN Messenger Error 81000314 ‡ The Cause of Code 81000314The Microsoft MSN server is down, or otherwise unavailable. If it is indeed Microsoft's MSN problem, then be careful not to make matters worse, for example don't try mending something that does not need mending and thus breaking a perfectly good system.Another possibility is that Softpub.dll may have become unregistered. Solutions to MSN Error Code 81000314 1) Wait for the MSN Server to return! Meanwhile check the status of the Messenger service, at: http://messenger.msn.com/Status.aspx 2) Delete ListCache.datLaunch CMD and navigate to %appdata%\microsoft.CD %appdata%\microsoftDir /s ListCache.dat Decide if you want to delete the cache.Del /s ListCache.dat Restart your MSN Messenger. See more on Windows 8 AppData3) Register softpub.dll.Click Start (Button), and then click Run, type regsvr32 softpub.dll. Restart MSN Messenger. It would do no harm to also use regsvr32 to re-register: wintrust.dll, initpki.dll, Rsaenh.dll Mssip32.dll and Cryptdlg.dll. Here is the command string to register these dlls. Launch the 'Run' command and paste: regsvr32 softpub.dll Wintrust.dll Initpki.dll Rsaenh.dll Mssip32.dll Cryptdlg.dll 4) Another problem could be firewall related, thus try temporarily disabling the firewall. If this cures the problem, make sure that MSN Messenger is allowed full access through the firewall. See how to disable Windows 8 firewalls with a Group Policy. . 5) If other people can access the MSN Messenger service, and you are the only one getting Error Code 81000314, then you could look at your anti-virus software. Has anything changed recently? 6) One more thought, could your account be locked out? Try another account if have one, or can create a new account. IPAT cracks this problem of allocating IP addresses in networks in two ways: For Mr Organized there is a nifty subnet calculator, you enter the network address and the subnet mask, then IPAT works out the usable addresses and
