must "Turn Windows features ON or OFF" in order to install it. My problem is that I am not familiar with Windows 7 and I am not sure which options need to be either on and off in order to make it work. I have tried several combination within the Control Panel net framework 2.0 win7 "Turn Windows features on or off" option. Can someone give me a hint as to what needs to be on or off??? Windows 7 installs .NET Framework 2.0/3.0/3.5 through 3.5 SP1 as an INTEGRAL part of the OS, not as an add-on. Because you already have .NET Framework 2.0/3.0/3.5 (all ONE framework. 2.0 is the base, full, framework, and 3.0 and 3.5 are extensions of 2.0), you cannot install it. As you seem to have found, you can see the embedded framework this way: Control Panel->Programs and Features->Turn Windows features on and off... am receiving and annoying message every time I log on into my computer a message saying:

If I tried to re-install the .NET 2.0 it says that it comes with the operating system. If I go to Add/Remove programs I cannot see it.
