We generally have no issues with the software, until recently. One of our microsoft .net framework 4 users was having trouble with the software recognizing the label printer, which generally means just a simple update or reinstall for the DYMO software. When we attempted to perform the reinstall an error popped up saying ".NET Assembly Registration Utility has stopped working" and then the install proceeds to stop and close without finishing. We have tried removing and reinstalling .NET framework to no success. We are aware that a complete reinstall of the Operating System will most likely solve the issue, but it would place the user out of commission for some time and that is something we want to avoid. After I select 'properties' for my web site, I get the following error: Microsoft .NET Aseembly Registration Utility has encountered a problem and needs to close. After this, the properties window opens, but without the net assembly registration "ASP 2.0" tab. I also executed the following from the command prompt: regasm.exe regasm.exe.config (located at: C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727), and I get the same error window, and the following information on the cmd window: Unhandled Exception: System.IO.FileLoadException: Could not load file or assembl y 'RegAsm, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a' or one of its dependencies.
