suitable folder to install into" error when trying to install or reinstall GoToMeeting. The user performed the most recent Windows updates and after that was unable to get G2M to work. Tried downloading the software and then running/installing from the desktop, but user said
No Suitable Location Could Be Found To Run The Application
that didn't work. The fix was to run the file: G2MInstaller.exe from its folder location on no suitable location could be found to run the application mac the hard drive: C:\Program Files\citrix\gotomeeting\723\G2MInstaller.exe Try it and let me know if that works for you. installer could not find a suitable folder to install to - error message Modified on: Fri, 11 Jul, 2014 at 12:43 PM This is a note from our IT group regarding a Go To Webinar issue I just got off the phone with a NW employee who was having trouble getting into the course. Every time she tried to launch GoToMeeting she would get a message that said "The installer could not find a suitable folder to http://www.mitchellenright.com/2011/07/13/gotomeeting-problem-could-not-locate-suitable-folder/ install to". I had never seen this message so I looked it up and Citrix actually has a support page for the problem, which I included below. One thing it mentions is that the user may need to re-install Java, so I had her try that. She said the installer kept bringing her back to the webpage, http://support.cypherworx.com/support/solutions/articles/4000020901-the-installer-could-not-find-a-suitable-folder-to-install-to-error-message so may have installed and just closed. Then she closed the course and web browser, cleared her cache, and reopened the course. Everything worked fine. In case you run into this issue: http://support.citrixonline.com/en_US/GoToMeeting/knowledge_articles/000001016?title=Error:+The+installer+could+not+find+a+suitable+folder+to+install+to Did you find it helpful?
