basically I'm a complete ra-tard and can't figure this CAC thing out. Here mouse usb not recognized is what I do know: 1. I have a CAC. 2. I have a CAC reader. 3. When I go af portal login to the portal, it reads my CAC, asks me for my pin, but then brings up a site that says "Your CA was not recognized. You should contact your CSA/LAN support team for https://militarycac.com/faqs.htm assistance with DoD certs on this computer. You can install the latest DoD certs from https://www.dodpke.com." 4. When I go to that ^^ website, it redirects me to another poorly designed, user un-friendly website.. so now I'm sitting here, lost and hoping: a.) the portal magically opens b.) someone tells me wtf to do. Clearly, I need an adult..... Thanks!! usafemale, Oct 27, 2011 #1 http://www.afforums.com/index.php?threads/using-cac-at-home-installation-etc.38447/ Fish Reincarnated Lonely, I'm Mr. Lonely I have nobody for my own. Resolution: Nimsoft packages our own 'java_jre' which appears as if it were a probe in the archive. This was to support the Nimsoft java-based probe environment. To resolve this issue, add the ‘java_jre’ package from the archive to the affected robot. Additional Information: Typically, you need to only review the runprobe.bat to determine the cause of the issue. Most runprobe.bat files will first reference a probe_env.bat file which looks like this: REM This file has been automatically generated. REM Do not edit (any changes will be overwritten.) set JAVA_HOME=%NIM_ROOT%\%NIM_JRE_HOME% set JAVA_OPTS=-Xmx256m -Xms32m set JAVA=%JAVA_HOME%\bin\java.ex The runprobe.bat file will look like this (notice the call to probe_env.bat): @echo off call probe_env.bat set TMP_LOG=%NIM_PROBE_NAME%.tmp "%JAVA%" %JAVA_OPTS% -jar %NIM_PROBE_NAME%.jar %1 %2 %3 %4 %5 >%TMP_LOG% 2>&1 type %TMP_LOG% >> %NIM_PROBE_LOGFILE% Attached are the actual examples described above. See the "Information" tab. Please help us improve! Will this information enable you to resolve your issue?
