Old HDD no software firewall works fine. New HDD whether with or without software firewall generates this message :hotbounce New install on diffrent PC, connected to USB modem, after dissable of modem (but that may be coincidence) and reconnect, this pc also gives this notice. Take PC home and connect to my router, no problem. Can the USB modem be the culprid ? I can tell you that the problem is resolved. I used a CD with SP4 and RollUp slipstreamed. Whether it has to do with the RollUP I do not know. But what I found was: He could not install rollup from the update site. So I started to wander, because in Software he states that it is already there, so why did he download it in the first place. So I gave SP4 a new chance (since I found om Microsoft MSDN that sometimes services did get caught in a endless loop, for with there is an update, but should be resolved in SP4). And to my surprise he is cured. :bounce: So Thanks for the effort y
