What's been changed oracle error 9024 on the DB or the client machines? Any ORA-nnnn errors showing up? Try reinstalling the client if you still have the software - I'm assuming it's a wintel box and one of the myriad updates it does could have corrupted the client connectivity layer. 0 Message Author Comment by:realfoh2007-04-12 Nothing has been changed on neither sides. The software is old and fragile (partly DOS based) so we`re really careful about tampering with it at all - there is no such thing as reinstall (nobody has the media, the command syntax nor the skills to get it back up).
