IMP-00058: ORACLE error 942 encountered ORA-00942: table or view does not exist IMP-00058: ORACLE error 942 encountered ORA-00942: table or view does not exist It works fine if I import it to a 11g client to 11g server or 10g client to 10g server. But most of our client machines are equipped with 11g and the servers are in 10g. So I need to get this thing going. You have mentioned below to install the views as a remedy. Could you give a bit more details on that? I have done export of schema from 9i with no problem using EXP, but when i tried to do import to 11g with batch job that do this work it has stuck.
