Solved Big problem with OCI-21560 Posted on 2005-01-19 Databases 1 Verified Solution 2 Comments 1,442 Views Last Modified: 2012-08-13 Hi, When I http://psoug.org/oraerror/OCI-21560.htm run query in SQLPLUS: select CO_OUTGOING_EVENTS_PKG.GET_EVENTS('EM') from dual; I get OCI-21560: argument 3 is null, invalid, or out of range. CO_OUTGOING_EVENTS_PKG.GET_EVENTS('EM') should retrieve user defined type. I don't use LOB. Have you got any idea why I still getting this error? There are some bugs there like this Note:1017260.102: Problem Description: Export of a schema can fail with the following errors EXP-56 OCI-21560 argument n is null, invalid or out of range Problem Explanation: This error can occur when you are trying to export an imported object type. This is caused by Bug:750689. This bug is fixed in 8.0.4.4, 8.0.5.2 and 8.0.6.0. Ensure that catexp has been run successfully, in order to ensure that the correct export definitions exist in the database. Solution Description: Both the table and the type will need to be dropped before the export can complete. Dropping the schema will not resolve the internal problem in the dictionary. Solution Explanation: Objects cannot be exported if the toids are invalid. You need to delete those objects
