Solved ORA-02395 Exceeded call Limit on IO usage Posted on 2010-11-05 Oracle Database Databases MySQL Server 1 Verified Solution 5 Comments 2,596 Views Last Modified: 2013-02-13 Hello Experts, I am trying to run a simple PLSQL block . It gives me the above error. You can also look at the screenshot below: The code that I am running has only 10000 records to update. --------------------------------------------------------------------- declare cursor c1 is select course_owner, group_code, course_code,activity_nbr, title, lpad(row_number () over (partition by course_code order by course_owner,activity_nbr),5,0) session_nbr from MCL_DBS_REV1_2W; begin for r1 in c1 loop update MCL_DBS_REV1_2W set session_number = r1.session_nbr where activity_nbr = r1.activity_nbr; end loop; --commit; end; ---------------------------------------------------------------------- This code actually worked fine last month. I am trying to run it again, and it errors out. Any kind of input is greatly appreciated.
