While installing the application it is verifying the database and making external procedure calls. During this process the installation fails is unable to proceed forward. Can you please look at the below error it is generating and suggest me the right way. I checked th previous post and it says that the DLL https://community.oracle.com/message/9242799 path is not set properly and other aspects ... As I am totally new to oracle and have very less hands on expertise I would highly appreciate your inputs on this regard. Below is the error in the log file - ORACLE : Connecting to Oracle ... ORACLE : Creating library LibExtCall ... Library created. ORACLE : Creating function ExternalCall ... Function created. ORACLE : Calling function ExternalCall ... Re: Oracle Extproc agent - Invalid DLL Path Billy~Verreynne Dec 24, 2010 5:26 AM (in response to 826307) Try the following. In your listener.ora file you will have a definition for the external proc. Add an ENVS parameter to it - something as follows: (SID_NAME = PLSExtProc) (ORACLE_HOME=

By default, Oracle will only load external procedures that are in the $ORACLE_HOME/bin and $ORACLE_HOME/lib directories. To load DLLs from other directories, the environment variable EXTPROC_DLLS should be set. Oracle recommends setting this variable in the listener.ora file using the ENVS parameter. In your documentation, you can find more info.
