Actually this error means that the file you're writing to already exists : 183L ERROR_ALREADY_EXISTS and it is good idea of turning IO errors off; although I don't know why DELPHI issuses that error when you are actually recreating the file with Rewrite .... regards Plame
attempting to run a Paradox 8 application on a computer upgraded to Windows 2000. This error comes up each time we attempt to open any Paradox 8 application. It http://www.verycomputer.com/162_009af22f23a11135_1.htm works fine on Windows 95 and 98. Could it possibly be that the application was compiled on Win 95 and we are attempting to execute the run-time on Windows 2000? I https://community.oracle.com/thread/844101?start=15&tstart=0 found in another forum that someone else is receiving the exact error with Paradox 8 and XP. Here is a post on the internet about this error. "As for 183 of oracle error IO error when Windows.pas is referred to... {Cannot

If not DirectoryExists ('T: \ABC\') then MkDir ('T: \ABC\'); " There error itself is Delphi, but this particular error message 183 is not covered in any Delphi books I have checked. Installed SQL 7 SP4 and rebooted. After that I moved the Cluster group to the second node and installed SQL there too, in an another shared disk (Im trring to make an active/active configuration). Applied SP4 and rebooted. After that I moved back the cluster group containing MSDTC to the first no

Was the database created properly last time you ran the script? Did you verify the contents of the file (i.e. database name, directories path, ..etc)? Does the SYS password contain any special characters? Like Show 0 Likes(0) Actions 16.
