Cause The OpenPages framework that is published in Cognos does not align with reports that is being executed. This can occur if the reporting framework was not regenerated during an environment refresh. Diagnosing the problem To diagnose the issue, an OpenPages administrator should: Open a supported browser. Go to the OpenPages URL. Login with qe-def-0459 an administrator id. Using the navigation menubar, go to: Reporting -> Cognos Report Studio. Open the report within Report Studio. Validate the report. If the report doesn't validate, review the reporting framework from within Report Studio to see if the field(s) exists. If the field doesn't exist, regenerate the reporting framework from within the OpenPages UI. If the report does validate successfully, save the report and try to run the report again. Resolving the problem To resolve the issue, an OpenPages administrator should regenerate the reporting framework and verify that the field does exist in framework. To regenerate the reporting framework, an OpenPages administrator can: Open a supported browser. Go to the OpenPages URL. Login with an administrator id. Using the navigation menubar, go to: Administration -> Reporting Framework -> Generation. Click on the 'Update...' button. Select the appropriate check boxes. Click on the 'Submit' button. Once the reporting framework generates successfully, retest the report and/or re-validate the report in Cognos Report Studio.
