When monitored using the Performance console provided in Windows 2000, the data provided by these performance counters can be useful for optimizing and troubleshooting. Here's the URL to a KB article for reference: Finding Extensible Counters Used by Performance Monitor http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;Q158874 You can also check the registry. Check registry settings in HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\TermService\Performance key. Try changing the default settings of 1000 to 2000 and reboot on the following values: Collect Timeout Open Timeout If this doesn't help, increase the setting to 4000. This will increase the time-out setting. See if the errors persist, or if they are as frequent.
