Hp Printer Spooler Error
> Windows 7 Miscellaneous Question 1 Sign in to vote I recently built windows could not start the print spooler service on local computer not enough resources a newsystem. Since the build I've had nothing but problems with my Print Spooler Service. The service will work fine canon pagecomposer despooler has stopped working and everything is OK. During an automatic update, upon restart the service will not be started. Trying to manually start the service will spit "error 1053 the service failed to respond within the http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-hardware/print-spooler-wont-start-windows-7-error-1053/38b019cf-44bf-4123-a39e-09c025f89da9 specified time". I've done system restores and things will work fine for a couple of days then same problem. I've done repair install with same results. I've done three fresh installs with no printers even installed and things work for a few days, then bang; spooler service is not running. I have nosoftware aside from a couple of games installed at this time and no https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/windows/en-US/8bd6c18d-e986-4d34-82fe-80c3cb1ca0a1/error-1053-spooler-services-will-not-start?forum=w7itprogeneral printers. Just been using the computer to browse the Web looking for solutions. When I start the computer I just go to "devices and printers" and look to see if the two default Microsoft XPS Document Writer and Fax are there and they are not. Click add printer and it spits the 1053 error. When the service fails, it never comes back until I do some type of restore, re-install, repair install etc. Then the service will work for a few days, then quit never to return. The only clues I have are that the Event Viewer shows that there has been a timeout error where 2 services have failed to respond within the allotted time (30 seconds) the two services are; Interactive Detection Services Service and Print Spooler Service. This is not a printer issue as I haven't had a printer powered on, plugged in or installed for over 2 weeks and 2 clean installs. Hope someone can please help, this is driving me to drink! I have no printers installed and am allowing window to download all updates. I can't install any printers as windows print spooler service is not loaded. If I go to services, and attempt to start the service, I get an error message that says "Windows could not start the Print spooler service on Local Computer" "Error 1053; The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion". All dependant services are loaded and running. I have restored the computer to an earlier point and was able to determine the spooler services are running. I continue to allow updates and at some point the service becomes corrupted again. I check in services.msc after every restart. I can't seem to figure out what's corrupting the spooler service. I've even gone as far as to re-install a system image created just after all motherboard divers where installed. The service appears to be working fine and during the process of doing Windows updates, after a random restart, it's not working again. Once it stops working it never comes back until I do a system restore. All the best Brett Once the spooler service stops, you cannot install a printer or driver until the service starts and is running. You need to get the spooler service to run/start and that's my issue. I've only been able to start the service by a system restore, only to have it randomly stop again!
