Unfortunately im getting the dreaded Increase buffer size error -6086. The problem is im getting this error with NO TRACKS CREATED! Im just pressing the play button. I've played with the buffer settings to no avail. I tried the demo session, same error. I opened the session on an external drive, same error. I removed all plugins from the DAE plugins folder, deleted

all digidesign preferences, same error. I've optimized my system using the guides on the first page. Im using the original mbox on Vista 32 home. (i know Home hasnt been tested) Surely it has to be a problem with my physical computer components? So im hoping someone can tell me if something i've got is the problem. cos all these computer numbers etc mean nothing to me! DAE 6086 DAE 6093 DAE 6085 Last Updated : January 21, 2013 Products Affected : DAE Errors 6086, 6093 and 6085 during playback or recording in Pro Tools and Digi 002 or Digi 002R. This can be caused by installing Pro Tools to a drive other than your main system drive. This can cause a firmware update to not be initiated. To correct this, uninstall Pro Tools from the secondary drive and reinstall it to your main system drive. After reinstalling, launch Pro Tools - you should get a message to update the firmware, which you should do before using Pro Tools. This could also be caused by moving any of the Pro Tools components (the application or any other files/folders) from their default install location. Usually uninstalling and reinstalling Pro Tools will fix the problem. Be sure to NOT move any of the components from their original install location. Problem was solved by connecting the Digi 002 to the front Firewire port on the Apple G5 computer. IMPORTANT: Make sure to power down the Digi 002 before connecting it to the computer's Firewire port.
