Its like iLok.com interrupts something between my iLok and Protools and triggers some piracy protection. Other than those cases, I don't have that problem ever. If you have it without doing that, maybe you should try connecting your iLok to a different port. Something is probably interrupting communication with your iLok. This video shows the errors that pop up when starting a new session and trying to play a empty file! I'm using a MacBook Pro 15" with 4GB Ram.UPDATE!!I trashed the system pref and turned off airport and it runs like a charm (using 3 processors at 99% instead of 4 at 85% using a 32 buffer. My next question is does anyone have amplitude 3? It seems pro tools 10 to really drain my CPU FAST!! It goes from 0-25% in seconds. Every now and then while I'm working I get an error that says that the "Application has been Compromised," and it causes PT to crash. I use Pro Tools 10.3. Any help would be much appreciated as it's starting to get really frustrating having to reboot PT every hour.
