But when i open up a session and try to make it play i get a message saying "Problem detected with audio clock. Check that your clock source and sample rate are correct. Now i've checked in the session information and then gone to hardware and made sure the sample rates are the same (44.1) but i still cannot get anything to play. Is there a different way i'm meant to sync up the audio clock for the Focusrite? This was never an issue with the Mbox but i'm guessing becuase that is M-Audio it happily communicates better with Pro Tools. Anyway, thank you for your time and any insight into fixing this problem i'm having would be great. Mallah Share Quote 3rd December 2012 #2 Alndln Lives for gear My Studio I'll take a guess worth checking. It sounds like PT defaulted to your onboard sound when you changed hardware. Make sure your Focusrite hardware is chosen in PT's hardware properties. Share Quote 4th December 2012 #3 rboy Gear Maniac Have you set up the Scarlett yet? Grab the CD in the box and install Mix Control. Pretty sure that if it's a new unit you also have update it from the Focusrite site. This is definitely the case with if yo
Clock Source April 30, 2010 | Optimize Pro Tools, Pro Tools, Tips In Wednesday's post we took a look at how one can easily http://therecordingrevolution.com/2010/04/30/optimize-pro-tools-setting-your-clock-source/ expand your interfaces inputs with an ADAT enabled set of mic pres. This is, of course, assuming your audio interface comes with an Optical ADAT connection. If you then go ahead http://www.hispasonic.com/foros/mensaje-pro-tools-ayuda-favor/208458 and purchase one of these lightpipe devices, hook it up to your interface, and record enable your tracks you might notice some weird pops and clicks happening that are really annoying. This pro tools is the result of confusion on which device (your interface or lightpipe device) is acting as the clock source. Here's the quick and dirty way to fix things in Pro Tools. Once your lightpipe device is connected and powered up, go to the Setup menu and choose Hardware This will open up a box that shows what your current clock source is selected as. clock source pro Usually "Internal". Which makes sense, you're clocking with your audio interface's internal clock. But if you want multiple digital devices to play nice you'll need to let this new lightpipe device be the clock source. To do this simply click on the drop down box under Clock Source and choose Optical. Click OK and the problem should be fixed. Easy as pie! If at some point you power off your lightpipe device, Pro Tools will prompt you that it is reverting back to the internal clock as it no longer sees an external one. You can always switch this back if need be. Enjoy! Get Better Mixes By Simply Changing How You Start The first 60 minutes of your mix will affect everything. Here's my proven method! 35 Responses to "Optimize Pro Tools: Setting Your Clock Source" Luis Graham, this is so valuable! It's funny because I have been considering purchasing the DIGI 003 and, as I was doing some research, I ran into a person that recommended Eleven Rack. It surely is a powerful interface for guitarists (like me!). I found that Eleven Rack combines Pro Tools soft
por --76780-- el 30/05/2008 Hola...siempre me ha ido todo bien...ahora me sale este mensaje... "Problem detected with audio clock. Check that you clock source and your sample rate are correct."
