It will also help if you say in what circumstance this occurs? Cheers. __________________ Pro Tools Expert http://www.pro-tools-expert.com Logic Pro Expert http://www.logic-pro-expert.com Ableton Live Expert http://www.ableton-live-expert.com Reason Expert http://www.reason-expert.com Studio One Expert www.studio-one.expert RussUK View Public Profile Visit RussUK's homepage! Then trash your preferences and all Digidesign Databases on all attached drives. Then do a re-install. To be safe make sure nothing else is running when you install. __________________ Pro Tools Expert http://www.pro-tools-expert.com Logic Pro Expert http://www.logic-pro-expert.com Ableton Live Expert http://www.ableton-live-expert.com Reason Expert http://www.reason-expert.com Studio One Expert www.studio-one.expert RussUK View Public Profile Visit RussUK's homepage! I've recently installed Mountain lion 10.8 as well. The macbook recognises the interface now that I bought a firewire 400-800 adaptor, and works fine just as an output sound device. So I installed the software, and when I try to open Pro Tools from the dock, it begins to open the application as normal, the usual window pops up with the option to open a blank session, blank session template or to open a session. When I choose blank session, a message comes up saying;"bus error" in thread "MainThread", at address 0x0Does anyone have any advice on how I can resolve this issue? Thanks very muchOriginally posted by metallica_687 - Aug 2012 Username Legacy History Robot Rank Site Admin Posts 581 Joined Sun Jan 20, 2013 9:29 pm Re: "bus error" in thread "MainThread", at address 0x0 #200byLegacy History Robot Sun May 19, 2013 11:26 pm I'm afraid protools 8 LE is not qualified for Mountain Lion, let alone Lion. You'll have to upgrade to protools 10. Mountain Lion is currently not fully qualified either, but reports have shown it works. This here is Avids current stand on Mountain Lion, www.avid.com/static/resources/common/do ... p=AV-HP-S3Originally posted by Pettje - Aug 2012 Username Legacy History Robot Rank Site Admin Posts 581 Joined Sun Jan 20, 2013 9:29 pm Re: "bus error" in thread "MainThread", at address 0x0 #201byLegacy History Robot Sun May 19, 2013 11:27 pm Thanks very much for letting me know!Much appreciated.Originally posted by metallica_687 - Aug 2012 Username Legacy History Robot Rank Site Admin Posts 581 Joined Sun Jan 20, 2013 9:29 pm Re: "bus error" in thread "MainThread", at address 0x0 #202byLegacy History Robot Sun May 19, 2013 11:28 pm "bus error" in threa
