I know officially 10.5.6 is not supported by Digi but I know many users not having these issues and many people online seem to be fine also. I keep getting a -9128 cpu power error when I hit play. It seems to be more often with songs with addictive drums by XLN, but it does it with other songs also, and BFD. I usually will get 10 or so constant errors all jumping between 9128, 6101 and 6104 and then they will go away for a long time and only come back here and there a lot of times I can record a whole song and not have the error again. I had a coreaudiod not responding that I saw info online to rename the Digidesign CoreAudio.plugin and it would resolve it... I thought this might be my ticket and with that fixed the problem might reside... This did fix the coreaudio not responding but the errors still occur. I have searched high and low on google and searched the forum here and can't find the answer to my question. Anyone? Please? alvarez1900 View Public Profile Find all posts by alvarez1900 #2 01-03-2009, 04:34 PM temujin Member Join Date: Dec 2008 Location: France Posts: 30 Re: Constant H/W buffer errors -6101 -6104 -9128 Could you state the details of your set-up, I had similar cpu H/W buffer errors so may be able to help temujin View Public Profile Find all posts by temujin #3 01-03-2009, 04:36 PM Richard901 Member Join Date: Oct 2005 Posts: 442 Re: Constant H/W buffer errors -6101 -6104 -9128 If your LE interface is USB e.g. Mbox 2 - th

Everytime I try to playback a recorded track, playback stops and the following dialog box appears. "CPU Usage is holding off USB audio. Remove some plug-ins, delete some tracks or increase the "H/W Buffer Size" in the Playback Engine Dialog (-6104)" I have increased buffer size, made plug-ins inactive. I've even upgraded my RAM from 2GB to 4GB without difference. Also the playback line is jumpy when it plays (which is only a couple of minutes before the above dialog appears) and the mouse pointer moves much faster and more erratic than my normal mouse settings. Below are the specifications of my macbook Model Name: MacBook Model Identifier: MacBook2,1 Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo Processor Speed: 2 GHz Number Of Processors: 1 Total Number Of Cores: 2 L2 Cache: 4 MB Memory: 4 GB Bus Speed: 667 MHz If anyone could help I would be very grateful as this problem is extremely frustrating!
