I am currently using http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/en_US/error_message/Error-Installing-Pro-Tools-10-on-Yosemite OS 10.10 Yosemite so I don't understand why this is showing up. Pro Tools cannot be installed because the following error(s) were found on your system: - An incompatible version of the OS was found. Pro Tools 10.3 requires Mac OS X version 10.7 or higher. Does anyone know what the problem could be? I do. The Pro Tools v10 installer thinks "10.10" is "10.1". Since "10.1" is less than "10.7", you see this error message. The SystemVersion.plist file at /System/Library/CoreServices contains the version number. AT YOUR OWN RISK, you could make a copy of that file, edit the original to read "10.7", install Pro Tools, then replace the edited file with the original before restarting.
