I edited for 15 minutes and I just got the OUT OF MEMORY message once. No Bus Errors so far. Then I connected my external Lacie drives via firewire 800 instead of the eSATA Controller. and it seemes that this helps a little. I've recently installed Mountain http://community.avid.com/forums/p/91815/522621.aspx lion 10.8 as well. The macbook recognises the interface now that I bought a firewire 400-800 adaptor, and works fine just as an output sound device. So I installed the software, and when I try to open Pro Tools from the dock, it begins to open the application as normal, the usual window pops up with the option to open a blank session, blank session template or to open a session. When I choose blank session, a message comes up saying;"bus http://forum.protoolsusers.org/viewtopic.php?t=63 error" in thread "MainThread", at address 0x0Does anyone have any advice on how I can resolve this issue? You'll have to upgrade to protools 10. Mountain Lion is currently not fully qualified either, but reports have shown it works. This here is Avids current stand on Mountain Lion, www.avid.com/static/resources/common/do ... p=AV-HP-S3Originally posted by Pettje - Aug 2012 Username Legacy History Robot Rank Site Admin Posts 581 Joined Sun Jan 20, 2013 9:29 pm Re: "bus error" in thread "MainThread", at address 0x0 #201byLegacy History Robot Sun May 19, 2013 11:27 pm Thanks very much for letting me know!Much appreciated.Originally posted by metallica_687 - Aug 2012 Username Legacy History Robot Rank Site Admin Posts 581 Joined Sun Jan 20, 2013 9:29 pm Re: "bus error" in thread "MainThread", at address 0x0 #202byLegacy History Robot Sun May 19, 2013 11:28 pm "bus error" in thread "MainThread", at address 0x0 has to do with Permissions. Repair your permissions in disk utility. With Pro Tools 8LE you had to use Digi Core Audio for Macintosh and as I remember it had to be downloaded separa
