I am using Windows 7, no other programs are giving me this problem. pro tools le I have tried uninstalling Pro Tools and then reinstalling, restoring my computer back a few days, running an AVG registy cleaner, and nothing is working. Any ideas on what to do? Share Quote 14th October 2012 #2 Joe Porto Lives for gear I think error code 7 is an issue with protools reading the iLok. Make sure the iLok is inserted correctly, and if so, try checking to see if the iLok website recognizes it. Share Quote 15th October 2012 #3 MetalCopper Here for the gear Thread Starter I am using Pro Tools 8 LE, does that require an iLok? The program has been working for several months with just my regular registration when I intitially installed it. Sorry, I'm not all that computer savy on some of the technical aspects. Share Quote 20th October 2012 #4 Daniel27 Gear interested I am actually having the same problem, although I haven't even been able to get Pro Tools started yet. I'm using the Mbox 2 that I got from a 7 LE factory pack (of course, I got myself Pro Tools 8 LE as 7 isn't compatible with Windows 7). In order to make 8 LE work Windows 7, I've been told to go to the Avid website and install the Mbox 2 family drivers and then install the Pro Tools 8.0.5 LE, or the 8.0.4 as some people think 8.0.5 is a tad buggy. I can't really speak on
