On the "Add DB2 DataConnection" window, I'm entering the following: - I'm entering the IP address of the server - I just put in any alias http://forums.asp.net/t/690875.aspx?db2+connection+problem name - I put the "UserName" and "Password" in - I put the default schema in I get the following error: Test connection failed: 0: Error occurred: [IBM] SQL30081N A communication error has been detected. Communication protocol being used: "TCP/IP". Communication API being used: "SOCKETS". Location where the error was detected: "[IP of my iSeries server]". Communication function detecting the error: "connect". Protocol specific error code(s): "10061", "*", "*", SQLSTATE=08001: -30081: IBM.Data.DB2: 08001 Without this, I can't use the IBM DB2 provider. I'm able to connect using the OLEDB provider with the same info, but not the IBM DB2 provider.
