Publicerades den 4 sep. 2013Since some users had problem with my tutorial, and requested a Video, ive made one, in which you can see how to get rid of the OE CFW, and install the 6.60 OFW (from which you are able to install the 6.60 ME CFW).You can use this for every OE CFW, be it 3.02 or 3.40. It also works for the 3.5x M33 CFWs. The 2.71 SE CFW might be supported as well, but I am not sure. This fixes the DADADADA error, which appears, if you try to install an OFW from the SE/OE (and PSP 1000-only M33) CFWs. FW 3.71 M33 allows you to install a normal FW, so thats why we target this specific CFW, before updating to the OFW. Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming! PSP won't update Skullo Registered User regular April 2010 edited July 2010 in Help / Advice Forum Hey again. This is like my third H/A post recently, I'm sorry about that! You guys just seem to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vaop_cc30HI get me answers faster than anything else though, and I have been having shit luck with technology lately. Anyway, I recently decided to break out the PSP again and buy some new games. I bought Half-Minute Hero, and apparently my PSP is not at the current version. Okay, the UMD has the update on it. Except, whenever it tries to update, it says that the PSP cannot read the disc. Strange. So I tried other UMDs, and they work, so it's not the http://forums.penny-arcade.com/discussion/117185/psp-wont-update PSP's problem (at least when it comes to reading discs). So I figure I'll just try a manual installation. I create the folder on the PSP, download the most recent update from Sony's site, and the PSP can find the installer. Except, whenever the update starts, it says that the memory stick cannot be read. WTF. Additonal info that might help: I bought the PSP used back in december, and I have never had any problems with it. The current version it is on is 3.71 EDIT: Tried with battery "fully charged", still doesn't work. Skullo on July 20100 Posts baudattitude Registered User regular April 2010 edited April 2010 I've never played around with custom firmware on the psp, but it was my understanding that some of them blocked "official" firmware updates as a security measure. Is it possible that you bought a used psp with cfw pre-installed? baudattitude on April 2010 0 Skullo Registered User regular April 2010 edited April 2010 baudattitude wrote: » I've never played around with custom firmware on the psp, but it was my understanding that some of them blocked "official" firmware updates as a security measure. Is it possible that you bought a used psp with cfw pre-installed? I don't know. I guess I could try restoring it to factory defaults. EDIT: Wait, I think that option is just to return default settngs, not erase the thing back to start. Is there any way to reformat a PSP? Skullo on April 2

Now I am having trouble updating the PSP to 3.90 and http://www.fixya.com/tags/psp_error_80010005 I get an error message "memory card cannot be read 80010005. Could I get my universal debricker to restore the 1.5 stripped down psp error firmware as is used in the basic pandora/magic stick setup? I have no trouble updating PSP's using that firmware. I repair PSP's and most people do not want to run homebrew, nor do the understand it... (me neither! HELP!) He give reference to this web site: Note: If it's not okay with you guys, please contact me at ps2dev.org (Xi-Bit) The program he developed has caused this problem on 2 different PSP, so it is not the Wifi memory reader. They function fine. Thank you for proper reply. Seems too many folks that hang on message boards have forgotten what common courtesy is, as Jane demonstrated in her replies to me on another post.
