I have read the connection manuals both printed and online for the PS3 and PSP.Im running a Wireless Network using a DLINK wireless router. My SSID settings that I am using on both the PS3 and PSP are: WPA-PSK(AES)I have configured both the PS3 Remote Play Settings and the PSP infrastructure setting to be the same. They can both connect to the internet very easy. But I cannot get remote play to work no matter what I do.Everytime I try it gives me the Connection Error #8001006F.Anyone heard of this problem before?Any help someone could provide I would really appreciate. Thanks,Chris Report FB Tweet G+ Message 1 of 6 (325 Views) Reply 0 Likes iouone Lombax Warrior Registered: 12/02/2006 Offline 157 posts 12-17-2006 04:38 PM User Info iouone ADD AS A FRIEND Re: REMOTE PLAY CONNECTION ERROR# 8001006F Options Mark as New Bookmark Subscribe Subscribe to RSS Feed Highlight Print Email to a Friend Report Dec 18, 2006 theres a couple places on your ps3 xmb you need to set up remote play under settings i believe. over far right of your xmb under account management you may want to activate (or whatever the word is) your pspMessage Edited by iouone on 12-17-2006 04:38 PM Report Message 2 of 6 (325 Views) Reply 0 Likes TheBruceLeeRoy Monster Hunter Registered: 12/17/2006 Offline 31 posts 12-17-2006 04:44 PM User Info TheBruceLeeRoy ADD AS A FRIEND Re: REMOTE PLAY CONNECTION ERROR# 8001006F Options Mark as New Bookmark Subscribe Subscribe to RSS Feed Highlight Print Email to a Friend Report Dec 18, 2006 iouone wrote:theres a couple places on your ps3 xmb you need to set up remote play under settings i believe. over far right of your xmb under account management you may want to activate (or whatever the word is) your pspMessage Edited by iouone on 12-17

You will need to set up port forwarding on your router. The port you need to open is UDP 9293. Connections on this port need to be forwarded to the IP address of your PS3. gillyallan View Public Profile Visit gillyallan's homepage!
