I chose the MacPro i5 configuration. I set the Gigabyte bios according to the instructions in http://tonymacx86.blogspot.com/2010/04/iboot-multibeast-install-mac-os-x-on.html.

When I boot with iBoot I get the ramdisk message and then: "mounting done". After that the system start waiting and every minute or so it generates the message: EBIOS read error: Device timeout Block 0x0 sectors 0 It does

that 4 times and than I get the iBoot screen. I managed to install OS X 1.6.3 following the instructions but when I restart I get the iBoot screen without the Snow Leopard icon. Any ideas? Then try the iBoot guide again. You may want to try GraphicsEnabler=NO OR GraphicsEnabler=YES to get past bootloader screen. I have a GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3 revision 1.3 with bios version F10. I found that I have to plug the CD drive (liteon) and the hard drive to the gray connector (GSATA) for the system to boot from the hard drive. However, when the cd-drive is connected to the GSATA connector pressing F5 to to switch between iBoot and the does not work. The inserted DVD is not recognized or now searched for. Any ideas if it's the LiteOn drive? I finally connected the cd and HD drives to the SATA connectors, went through the installation on the hard drive and moved the cd and HD to the GSATA during the reboot. I used the multibeast and the DSTS from the database (I used the one for F9). Now when I try to boot I get the apple and I hear the HD but the system does not boot. If I

Reformatting the drive removed the timeout issues.
