Regards CH Wednesday, July 05, 2006 4:16 AM Reply | Quote All replies 0 Sign in to vote I had a similar error to what your describing, only mine was "an error encountered while copying the data. Error code is [80070241]"I read around a little and the only solution for it was to download again, this was yesterday so I doubt anything better has been found! The second downloaded ISO worked fine, only to give me another error on the boot into Vista itself.Hope that helped. Daniel Friday, June 30, 2006 3:06 PM Reply | Quote 0 Sign in to vote I doubt downloading it again will help. I have used the ISO to successfully install to a Virtual PC (although Vista is slower than molasses on January on the VPC), and I have burned the same ISO to several different DVDs (two brands, several speeds), and I get this error at different percentages complete with each DVD - although if I use the same DVD more than once, it always happens in the same spot for that particular DVD. So it seems to be picky about something but I can't figure out what. Friday, June 30, 2006 11:12 PM Re
