Cannot start mission. After completing the campaign mission atlas falls, during the narration and loading screen of mission "into the deep", the game stops working and a dialog box appears showing http://steamcommunity.com/app/209160/discussions/0/648811670522609707/ "Fatal Error : Disc read eror image35", i've tried everything such as running the game in safe mode but the problem is still persisting. and i'm quite certain that it's not a hardware error either because i was able to play the game on ultra settings so far without any problems. If anyone has any ideas as to what is causing this please suggest how i could solve it and get back to dropping enemies in the game. < > Showing 1-7 of 7 comments AneeeNews View Profile View Posts 13 Nov, 2013 @ 12:26am Try a chk disk to make sure your hdd is okay.It may take quite a while. Solved "a disk read error read error occured, press CTRL+ALT+DEL" after cloning a partition on another machine Posted on 2013-12-01 Windows 7 MS Legacy OS 1 Verified Solution 7 Comments 2,606 Views Last Modified: 2013-12-01 Hi, I'm having problems booting into Win7 after I cloned it with Clonezilla onto another machine. What I DID: I cloned a partition (after shrinking it to fit the target disk read error drive) containing a working Win7 system onto another machine. The target machine has one HDD, containing two partitions, a small recovery partition and a large system partition. After completing the cloning process, I tried to boot into the newly cloned system but only got a blinking cursor. So I booted from a Windows 7 install disc and ran bootrec /fixmbr, bootrec /fixboot and recreated the BCD. I also ran bootsect /nt60 all. Now I get the error "a disk read error occurred, press CTRL+ALT+DEL" when trying to boot. What WORKS: When booting from a Boot CD and selecting the option "Boot from first HDD second partition" the system will boot normally. This uses apparently a bootloader integrated in a Boot CD, as it is in a different language. What else can I try to fix the Windows 7 bootloader? 0 Question by:alexandrus Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Google LVL 52 Active today Best Solution byMcKnife Experienced the same error symptom more than once and took the time to figure it out.
