You either have a corrupt TIFF image or there is a bug in the TIFF delegate library. If you don't have the latest version of TIFF, try downloading and see if it works with your images. a headstart before I sleep...When ImageMagick opens the file, it produces the errorRead error at scanline 4294967295; got __X__ bytes, expected __X+128__'TIFFFillStrip'X varies with the particular file, but the difference in numbers isalways 128 (for spot-checked versions of "always"). The scanline numberseems to be always the http://www.imagemagick.org/discourse-server/viewtopic.php?t=7661 same.IrfanView can open the file fine. If I save it uncompressed fromIrfanView, then ImageMagick can also.I seem to have ImageMagick 6.4.2 on this machine. Q8. I'd be glad toupgrade to the latest if it would help, or some other version http://magick-users.imagemagick.narkive.com/9V8Qgr0H/bug-tiff-lzw-reading thatdoesn't have this problem, if someone can suggest one, by knowing whenit was introduced, and if it hasn't yet been fixed, and if that versionis available somewhere (preferably a Windows installer).Guess I'll upgrade now, since that can't be worse, and might be better...Hmm. Didn't help. Version 6.5.4-2 produces the same error.Test file at http://nevcal.com/temporary/form14.tif d***@imagemagick.org 2009-07-16 13:04:47 UTC PermalinkRaw Message Post by Glenn LindermanTest file at http://nevcal.com/temporary/form14.tifYour bug report should go to the TIFF developers since the exception isbeing thrown by the TIFF delegate library (LIBTIFF, Version 3.8.2). 1 Reply 12 Views Switch to linear view Disable enhanced parsing Permalink to this page Thread Navigation Glenn Linderman 2009-07-16 11:18:21 UTC d***@imagemagick.org 2009-07-16 13:04:47 UTC about - legalese Loading...
RAW] I got a small problem. I make some tiff image with different size depedent of 5 \ sources. When all 5 sources read error are available everything works fine with convert with a \ 2000x1210 size TIFF image. But with only 1 source (TIFF image has now size 666x1210) \ I get this read error at error message Read error at scanline 1020; got 1599444 bytes, expected 9896089. (TIFFFillStrip) [No \ such file or directory]. When I display the original TIFF image before I use convert on it, the last 200 lines \ or so are the same. Anyone who got an idea whats wrong?
