The traps fire, but they don't get picked up. MOM shows nothing, SNMPUTIL Trap (on the MOM server) shows nothing and Trap Watcher (on the MOM server) triggers a "Read error occured (10040)" every time a trap is sent. All watchers and recipients were run individually (ie. the others were disabled during testing to avoid conflicts). Trap messages sent from other network devices like printers and linux boxes are picked up by MOM without problems. Error 10040 is related to datagram size discrepancies. Hi When I try and start up my a disk read error occurred xp Windows XP I get this message "Disk read error occurred press Ctl+Alt =Del to restart. Every time I restart I get the same message. I have searched the forums but am a bit lost about some of the suggestions. Any simply explained suugested solutions would be appreciated.
