when I reach a certain part in the series of photos and always after the same photo. I'm very new to all of this, does anyone know what happening? PLEASE HELP. Did you try the card in another device? Another camera or a computer to see if you get a read error as well? Save all your pictures in your computer and reformat your sd card again
 thisisatypo 2 posts Posted March 2, 2014 But I just bought this SD card along with the camera... If you can do that What is the make and model and capacity of the card? What is the computers OS? Are you shooting RAW or jpeg or both? That is enough top at least start with. I have tried connecting the camera to the computer and tried to connect the card directly. Both methods were unsuccesful in reading the data on the card. I have two memory cards, a 16mb and 64mb. The 64 card is the one with the desired photos, which is the one with the read error. When the 16 mb card was used with the camera, everything was working fine. This made me believe that it was the memory card that is the problem. My question is is there a way to recover the photos from the supposedly faulty memory card? Take no more pics until you've recovered the photos, take the card out of the camera. Here's some freeware photo recovery software that should be what you're looking for: http://camerarepair.blogspot.com/2007/12... You will need to use a flash card reader with this software. If you don't have one, get one, they're cheap: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=sr_st?ke
